Partner Classic

The Partner Classic is a new event in 2018, and will be hosted by Meadowlark Hills Golf Course in Kearney on June 7-8. This 36-hole competition consists of two-person teams playing Pinehurst in round one and Four-Ball in round two.

In Pinehurst, each partner plays from the teeing ground and then plays their partner’s ball for their second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. Team Handicap in Pinehurst combines 60 percent of the lower player’s Course Handicap and 40 percent of the higher player’s Course Handicap. In Four-Ball, each player plays their own ball. The lower net score of the partners is the side’s score for the hole. Each team member receives 90 percent of Course Handicap in Four-Ball.
