Nebraska finished tied for runner-up honors with Kansas Tuesday at the 56th Girls' Four-State Matches, two and a half points behind Missouri. After trailing by a single point following Four-Ball and Foursomes matches Monday, Nebraska managed only two points in Singles matches out of a possible six. Isabella Elgert of Lincoln won her match against Hannah Pettitt of Iowa 3 & 2, while Naryn Kim, Lincoln and Olivia Lovegrove, Lincoln both tied their matches. The Girls' Four-State Matches, conducted annually, consist of Four-Ball, Foursomes and Singles matches, all worth a single point. Since making the transition to a team match play format in 2019, Nebraska has won three times (2019, 2021 & 2022), Kansas twice (2020 and 2023) and Missouri once (2024).
